Scholardo includes a 7-day full-featured free trial — no credit card required. All features are available from the first launch.
The trial countdown is tied to a Keychain entry, not a date on disk, so it survives app reinstalls.

After purchase you will receive a license key by email.
Activate
- Open Scholardo → Settings → License.
- Paste your license key in the field.
- Click Activate. An internet connection is required for the first activation.
- The signed license is stored locally — subsequent launches work fully offline.
Refresh
The license is refreshed once per year. Scholardo handles this automatically in the background when an internet connection is available. You will be notified if a refresh is needed.
Multiple devices
A Personal license covers one device at a time. To move to a new Mac:
- Open Settings → License → Deactivate on the old machine.
- Activate on the new machine with the same key.
Troubleshooting
"License key not found" — Check that you copied the full key including any leading/trailing characters.
"Activation failed" — Ensure you have an internet connection. Corporate firewalls may block the activation endpoint (api.scholardo.com).
"Trial expired" — Purchase a license at scholardo.com and activate it.
